Good afternoon,
April 22nd (next Saturday) is National Jelly Bean Day. I set up a Jelly Bean guessing contest at the front desk at MEY, same as we had last year. There is a jar of jelly beans set up. The idea is for kids ages 2-12 yrs to guess how many beans are in the jar, write down their guess, name & phone # on the white sheet next to the jar, and drop it in the pink box (also next to the jar). Whoever guesses closest to the actual number of jelly beans without going over will win their own bag of jelly beans & a free book. To participate, the child must be present; adults may not guess for their kids although they can help.
I don’t want to add any work to anyone’s desk time but please don’t let any patrons open up the jar and eat the beans! If any staff or customers have questions, please feel free to grab me.
Thank you!
